I wanted to reach out ahead of tonight’s first GOP presidential debate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which will be broadcast live on Fox News.

We need to be prepared. For anything. And I mean anything.

During the last presidential election, in an act of blatant racist fearmongering, Donald Trump invoked my name by saying that low-income housing would “invade” suburban neighborhoods.

Instead of distancing themselves from Donald Trump, the competing cast of GOP presidential candidates have embraced him, and they could say or do anything to get the right-wing media’s attention.

So before tonight’s debate kicks off, I’m humbly asking:

John, will you chip in $10 to our Senate campaign before tonight’s Fox News debate kicks off and the GOP presidential candidates take the stage? We must be prepared to respond to anything they throw our way.
