Gun reform legislation waiting for a vote in the House includes a ban on assault weapons, Legislation banning assault weapons–which are responsible for most of the deadliest mass shootings in this country–has been languishing in the GOP-controlled House. There have been more than 420 mass shootings in 2023 alone.
This is not up for a debate! Federal assault weapons bans SAVE LIVES. It’s time our elected officials choose the American people over donations from anti-gun reform groups like the NRA–they’re putting a price on our lives and we are fed up!
