Great news out of Montana!
Last week, a Montana judge ruled in support of young climate activists. The case alleged that the state's support of fossil fuels violated their right to a "safe and healthful environment," something enshrined in the Montana constitution.
This victory is historic - not only for our planet but for a generation of young people demanding that leaders take the climate crisis seriously.
This is the power of grassroots movements. This is the power of democracy.
The extreme heat and fires we are facing make clear that the fight against climate change must continue. And the victory in Montana gives us inspiration to carry on, together, for a better future.
