John,
Things have been pretty busy out on the campaign trail — we’re just under two months out from the October election and it’s go time!
From now until then, we're actively engaging with voters and community leaders, participating in events, and working tirelessly to connect with communities across Louisiana.
But this level of community engagement requires vast resources, and we’re relying on grassroots support to fuel our ground game. Will you rush a $5 donation today to help us connect with more folks in the community?

Thanks for the support! Now keep reading to see what we’ve been up to:
Before hitting the road this week, I stopped by UPS to greet drivers before they head out to their route. Because of organized representation, UPS is a successful company with long-term employees enjoying benefits like sick leave and wage raises.
We kicked things off with the Louisiana Association of Health Plans Forum last Tuesday, where I talked about my plan to lower the cost of prescriptions for everyday people. I will remain engaged with health plans, providers, and patients to make healthy lifestyles accessible & affordable!
At the Tangipahoa DPEC meet & greet on Wednesday, I was grateful to share how I will work with stakeholders from across our state to deliver the necessary resources to improve our education, healthcare, and public safety. It quickly became a standing-room-only event!
I'm grateful to have a strong working relationship with the unions throughout our state and proud to have stood with members of IBEW Local 995, Ironworkers Union Local 623, Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1546, the National Association of Letter Carriers Local 136, and many more. On Thursday, I was honored to be unanimously endorsed by the Louisiana AFL-CIO!
On Friday, I had the pleasure of participating in the LegisGator Gubernatorial Forum to talk about the issues. Running for office means making yourself available, and I believe the way you campaign is the best demonstration of how you might govern.
Thank you to Mayor Broome for inviting me to join United Christian Faith Ministries, led by Rev. Mark Ellis, on Sunday morning. Later, I enjoyed a second service at New Hope Baptist Church pastored by Rev. Cyrus — no other place I’d rather start the week!
John, I know that together, we can elevate the voices of working folks and build a stronger Louisiana that works for everyone. We can make healthcare more affordable, support our unions and improve working conditions, and make our communities safer.
But first, we need to win this race, and I can’t do that without grassroots support from folks like you. Will you chip in any amount that works for you — even if it’s just $5 — to help me take on the GOP and WIN this November?
