Urgent update, John: South Carolina’s Supreme Court just upheld a near-total ban on abortion. 

The ALL MALE court’s ruling banned abortions after six weeks — before many women even realize they are pregnant. 

This is a bad day for women in South Carolina, but also for women all across the South. Until now, abortions had been legal up until 22 weeks, making South Carolina a safe haven for an increasingly hostile region. 

During the trial, the lawyer representing the ban argued that women losing access to abortion could “adjust their behavior accordingly.”

We sure will adjust our behavior accordingly.  We’ll march. We’ll protest. We’ll support women traveling from other states. We’ll VOTE. THEM. OUT.
