This contract was made possible because of the strong demonstrations of worker power from the Teamsters and community supporters like you. From authorizing a strike with 97% membership approval to worker organizers swiftly mobilizing locals, UPS Teamsters proved they were fed up and ready to fight back against corporate greed. And win!

Some highlights include:

Abolishing “22.4” classification. Equal pay for equal work!
Ending forced overtime.
Solidifying UPS Teamsters as the highest paid in their industry.
At least one-third of new hires (around 7,500) will be brought on as full-time drivers.
A seat at the table on numerous relevant issues facing workers, including everything from automation to dog attacks.

We congratulate the UPS Teamsters on a strong contract that sets new precedent in the logistics industry. The wins in this contract not only secure safer workplaces with thriving wages for UPS workers but also clearly show that corporations like Amazon, FedEx, and others can and should do more for their workers.
