Good morning, friends! I am so excited for this newsletter I could not wait
to send it. First off, a HUGE THANK YOU to Maryanne, Spencer, Don and his
lovely wife, Brian, Yveline, Phyllis, Liz, Sharon, Buster, Gary, Paul, and
Jolade for all you have contributed and showed up this past week! We are
getting great call-ins on the radio and believe me, it counts. This week we
have been hitting pretty much every city/town in the district.

This weekend, we will be in Jamestown and North Providence and East
Providence in the afternoons. Can we ask for 2 hours of your time to help
drop flyers? If you live out of town and could make phone calls, believe
it helps and the feedback we have been receiving is very positive.

#TeamBerbrick Leads On Leadership

Writing from our office headquarters, we are officially 13 days from this
historic primary. *That is it, 13 days.*



Yesterday, Walter Berbrick was a featured guest on the Dan Yorke Show
before taking the debate stage to call out our opponent on a ridiculous
press conference they led.



With no data, creating the illusion this is a two person race, our opponent
brought in a former candidate who dropped out and alluded other candidates
in this field should consider dropping out and endorsing the insider
'leading' candidate.



Walter Berbrick quickly responded pointing out the lack of leadership and
judgement, "this is an insider, supporting an insider, in an election
designed to support insiders." Reflecting on the press conference,
Berbrick was the only candidate to point out:

- This is still a *wide open race* and there is no independent polling
to suggest otherwise.
- *It is a question of leadership and judgement *and if there were any
facts, they should have reached out directly for a conversation and made
their case, not grandstanding at a press conference.

with targeted voters until election day! This follows up thousands of

Upcoming Debates & Profiles

Walter Berbrick looks forward to sharing his experience and platform with
voters across multiple debates and forums as we get closer to the

Updated watch list:

On August 29th, WPRI-12 will broadcast a live debate at 7 p.m. from the
Rhode Island College campus. All Democratic primary candidates who qualify
under the Nexstar Media Inc. nationwide criteria will be invited to
participate. The debate will be moderated by WPRI’s Tim White and Ted Nesi.

Volunteer Spotlight

This week, we want to spotlight and give a *HUGE THANK YOU to Spencer
Johnson.* Spencer is a student at Providence College who has been
instrumental for us to reach grassroots supporters to fund the media ads
and mailers . Spencer continues the tradition of service to others, just
like Walter and his father, a West Point graduate. Spencer, #TeamBerbrick
would not be the same without you.
