John, when I fought overseas, I wasn't just fighting for cisgender or straight Americans. I fought for everyone.

Which is why I'm so disturbed that our school board in Bucks County is trying to erase the history and lived experiences of people of color and LGBTQ+ people just to validate their politics of grievance.

They are making the lives of kids of color, LGBTQ+ kids, and anyone who does not fit into their self-righteous and hateful definition of "normal" a living hell. Everyone should be able to speak their truth, and kids deserve to have their truth reflected on the bookshelves of their school libraries.

That's why I'm asking you to support not just my campaign, but also the coalition fighting to elect a compassionate, commonsense school board here in Bucks.

Please, split a donation between Neighbors United and me – their election is in just 76 days. Together, we can stop wasting time (and tax dollars!) on "culture war" fights in our schools.

SPLIT OTHER AMOUNT

Here's how appalling the school board's record has gotten. They:

  • Wrote and passed policies banning symbols of support for LGBTQ+ students, including Pride flags. Enforcement of this vague policy resulted in the temporary removal of a quote from Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel.

  • Created such a hostile environment for LGBTQ+ students that the ACLU filed a complaint. The Department of Education is now investigating the district.

  • Wasted taxpayer dollars by hiring a PR firm for $15,000/month to spin their image.

  • Wasted even more taxpayer dollars by hiring a law firm that charges $940/hour to defend the hateful policies they pass.

This board has completely lost sight of their mission: to provide all students with the academic and problem-solving skills essential for personal development and responsible citizenship. NOT to ban books, attack LGBTQ+ students, and waste our tax dollars.

And my opponent, GOP Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, would make things even worse. He voted for a bill that would allow more Moms for Liberty-types to ban books and censor teachers in our schools.

Students, teachers, parents, and taxpayers all deserve better.

But a far-right venture capitalist is willing to spend unlimited sums of money to keep the school board exactly as it is. That's why Neighbors United needs our help – just like me, they're relying on grassroots donations to overcome big outside money.

Split a donation between our campaigns. Every dollar helps support candidates who care about safe schools and smart budgets – not endlessly fighting "culture wars."

Thanks for being in this fight,
