I hope you've been having a great summer. It's hard to believe, but as the season comes to an end, I couldn't help but think about how different my summer was compared to President Biden's. While he enjoyed his beach days in Delaware, our Convention of States grassroots army has been busier than ever.
In Pennsylvania, our volunteers hit the ground running at the Eagle Arms show, and you won't believe it – they gathered an impressive number of petitions! Meanwhile, over in New Jersey, our incredible volunteers covered a 7-day event, spreading the word about the vital work we're doing. And in Illinois, we didn't miss a beat. We set up shop at the county fair, and at one point, we had multiple iPads out in the crowd, all at once, collecting petitions.
Even in deep blue states, our volunteers have been unstoppable. Up in Maine and New Hampshire, our teams are strategizing to debunk the infamous "runaway convention" myths that opponents love to throw around. And in Massachusetts, we're aiming big – we've set a goal to fill 100 chairs on an upcoming Surge Day at the statehouse.
