"He has long advocated for immigrants..." "She has been using her voice for senior citizens..." "They freely give their time and talent to make Arlington more vibrant..." People like this are exactly why we introduced the Spirit of Community Award 30 years ago. Now the question is: Who do you know that should get this year's award? With the nomination deadline extended to Monday, August 28, you have a little extra time to nominate that person who inspires you. The words don't have to be perfect. You can start the nomination, save it, and finish it later. You can write it out or record a video.
