2 seats, folks. That’s it.
That’s how close Republicans are to taking complete control of the General Assembly in November. They’re dead set on flipping the Democratic-controlled state Senate where we’re defending just a narrow 4-seat edge. Since the Lieutenant Governor is a Republican, that means flipping just 2 seats will deliver Republicans the majority.
If they win these seats and hold on to their majority in the House of Delegates, Democrats won’t be able to protect abortion and voting rights.
I don’t know about you, but I think that’s a little too close for comfort.
So I’m asking: Can you contribute now to help me make sure Democrats can hold on to these crucial seats so they can protect Virginia from the GOP’s dangerous, right-wing agenda?
