World BEYOND War is building a global peace movement with your help, and we have big plans to enlarge it. We're adding new chapters and affiliates all the time, as well as staff and board members.
While we're working to help one of our board members who is being prosecuted in Ukraine for supporting peace, we're planning creative nonviolent projects for Ukraine and working as part of a global movement to create a week of actions everywhere for a ceasefire and negotiations.
We're also busy organizing an incredible three days of online transformation of understanding called #NoWar2023. We're spreading the word with billboards. We're presenting our third-annual War Abolisher Awards next Monday. We're pushing back against the militarization of Peru and many other places, and planning our first African peace conference. We've got a webinar tonight with the great artist Robert Shetterly. Our online peace courses keep expanding.
We are doing the educational and activist work we set out to do nearly 10 years ago, but we can only continue and grow with your funding.
While we need your help sharing our ever-improving online resources and actions, and creating more chapters, we can only build the global movement needed to move us away from the nuclear abyss and toward sustainable peace and justice if we have the funds to pay for it. Our work in Canada and in Latin America has expanded tremendously, principally as a result of hiring organizers for those locations. The rest of the world awaits!
