STAR TRIBUNE: Attorney General Keith Ellison releases sweeping report on drug prices

MORE: "State Attorney General Keith Ellison released sweeping recommendations for addressing prescription costs Wednesday, including the creation of a commission that could investigate industry practices and cap the prices of some drugs."

John,

Too many people have told me the cost of their prescriptions are forcing them to choose between affording their lives and affording to live. Last year, I pulled together a task force to change that.

This past week, we presented our report. It uses plain language to shine a bright light on the dysfunction of the prescription-drug market and presents concrete recommendations that, if we implement them, will drive down drug prices down for people and help them afford their lives.

Prescription drug affordability is not a partisan issue. It's a people issue. And I'm proud to take this important step in solving it.

To learn more about our report and its recommendations, please read this recent article in the Star Tribune.
