Church Action on Poverty is seeking a new Chairperson from this autumn. Could you be the person we're looking for - or do you know someone who might be?

We are looking for someone to lead our Council of Management in overseeing the development and delivery of our strategy of building a social movement to reclaim dignity, agency and power together. You will work closely with Church Action on Poverty’s Chief Executive in pursuing the mission of the organisation.

If you have proven capacity for inclusive leadership, good judgement, a commitment to social justice and at least two days per month available, we would like to hear from you! You will need to be able to attend occasional meetings in Manchester, but applicants can live anywhere in the UK..

Applications need to be received by 10am on Monday 26 September 2023.
Interviews will take place on 7 or 14 October 2023. They may be online or in person.
