Nottingham SUD strategy funding available

The Nottingham Sustainable Urban Development (SUD) strategy is part-funded by ERDF to support business incubators and accelerators in the Greater Nottingham area.?

A new and final call is still open with ?8.5m available for projects that can provide 50% match funding.

ERDF and ESF national reserve funds

Any remaining funding from local ERDF and ESF allocations will be put into a national reserve funds open to bidders anywhere in England. Calls are not out yet but are likely to start in March.

UK scientists, researchers and businesses continue to be eligible to participate in Horizon 2020 programmes, including energy research, as partners and coordinators and receive EU grant funding for the lifetime of individual projects, even if the project finishes after 2020.

Existing projects and successful bids submitted to calls funded under the?current Horizon 2020 budget will continue to receive grant funding directly from the Commission.?

UK independent production companies looking to develop a project with international potential for cinema, television or digital platforms are still eligible to apply for funding from Creative Europe.

SME businesses are taking steps to improve their energy efficiency with an N2 Energy Grant.

Grants can provide financial support to invest in measures that lead to cost and carbon savings. Businesses have already used these grants to implement projects such as lighting and heating upgrades, insulation and purchasing new machinery.

Eligible businesses can receive up to ?16,000 to fund 40% of the cost of installing energy efficiency measures.

The N2EG Programme is part financed by the European Regional Development Fund and is delivered by Nottingham City Council.? The programme is open to businesses with fewer than 250 employees located in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
