As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support in various financial capacities by accurately processing routine transactions tied to Accounts Payable functions. Your role will be crucial in ensuring adherence to established procedures while navigating State regulations, and agency guidelines. Your responsibilities will encompass accurate and efficient payment of invoices and travel reimbursements, while upholding the highest standards of precision and thoroughness. This entry-level position operates under the guidance of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), in alignment with DES and client agency protocols. Reporting to the SAFS Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will collaborate closely with Finance Division peers, agency managers and staff, as well as external stakeholders like public agencies, contractors, and vendors. Direction for your tasks will be provided by the Fiscal Analyst 5 supervisor and Fiscal Analyst 3 lead, both verbally and in written form. Your commitment will play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations.
