Here’s what you need to know: Before Congress broke for August recess, House Republicans rolled out a series of extremely damaging anti-environment bills. Their proposals include abolishing the EPA’s budget to advance environmental justice, zeroing out the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, and removing the gray wolf from the endangered species list, among other anti-environment attacks.

This is bad — really bad. And it’s only going to make matters worse at a time when dangerous heat, wildfires, and other climate-fueled disasters are harming communities across the country.
