When wildfires swept through Maui on August 8, destroying the town of Lahaina, Americares launched into action, deploying an Emergency Response team to Hawaii within days.
The death toll is currently at 115 and counting, with over 800 still missing. The Americares team is on the ground now meeting with local partners to assess immediate health needs and offer our support for the long road ahead.
