Ron DeSantis’ campaign is in hot water, John.
He’s fired more staffers in the last few months than any of us can keep track of, and his poll numbers keep tanking. He’s lost big GOP donors — and even got uninvited from the wedding of a Republican billionaire donor’s daughter (maybe the invite went to a Supreme Court justice instead?).
So who’s causing all the problems at DeSantis HQ?
Is it Ron’s wife Casey DeSantis for being a lackluster speaker?
Is the problem that the voters aren’t listening (because if they were listening, they would totally love DeSantis’ message that was crafted in a sterile lab by high-paid, out-of-touch consultants)?
Is DeSantis’ first campaign manager the problem? His second campaign manager? Maybe his third, fourth, or fifth campaign manager?
Or maybe — juuuuuust maybe — the problem lies elsewhere.
What do you think, John? What’s the key problem with (ahem) Ron DeSantis’ (ahem) campaign?
I’m anxious to hear your thoughts, John!
– Hank (he/him)
