We will do incredible things together this election year.   John, My name is Sean Diller, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as the new Executive Director of Colorado Turnout Project. It's an honor to step into this role, and I'm excited to work alongside you in our shared mission of kicking Lauren Boebert out of Congress and electing Democrats up and down the ballot, in every election. Having been a part of the Colorado Turnout Project community from the beginning, I've seen the remarkable impact we've made together. Since January 2021, when CTP was born, we’ve raised over $200,000 to elect Democrats and put Lauren Boebert on notice that Coloradans deserve - and demand - better representation in Congress. After a tight primary, Democrat Adam Frisch came within 546 votes of beating Boebert, backed by a coalition of progressive organizations across the state. The Colorado Turnout Project made maximum contributions to the Colorado Democratic Party, and contributed to individual campaigns and other grassroots organizations. Our team also delivered to 160,000 younger voters an emotional and compelling message from an 18-year old school shooting survivor calling out Boebert for her extreme positions on gun violence. And we produced and distributed digital ads and videos featuring the voices of 6 Colorado voters demanding that our politicians protect abortion rights, a key motivating issue for voters in the 2022 Midterms. I come to this role with deep experience in Democratic campaigns, starting with the DNC’s field and GOTV effort to elect President Barack Obama in 2008. As a Canvass Director in Seattle, Portland, Austin, and St. Louis, I learned campaigns from the perspective of a community organizer. Core values of inclusion, empowerment, transparency and accountability are paramount to me and any group I work with. With your unwavering support, we'll continue to inspire and mobilize voters to deliver Democratic victories across the state. We’re going to kick Lauren Boebert of Congress. We’re going to defend Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo and vulnerable elected Democrats. And I’m excited to announce that we’re going to get involved in Douglas County to make sure anti-LGBTQ and MAGA sympathizing school board candidates get absolutely trounced in local elections just 10 weeks from now.
