I wanted to pass along my latest update on what I have been doing to fight for you, Texas’ 21st Congressional district, and our country as a whole:
Exposing NIH corruption
Americans deserve to know whether the federal employees they pay for are actually working for them or for their own enrichment. A report recently revealed that NIH employees, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, took $325 million in payments from 2,019 separate private companies worldwide, including 265 payments from Pfizer entities and 207 payments from Moderna, two of the leading companies in the COVID-19 response.
That’s why I led a group of 14 House Republicans in demanding answers from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). It’s time for transparency.
No Security, No Funding
It’s time to demand change. Congress cannot sit around waiting to take action. No, we must fight the out-of-control bureaucracy today – Americans are counting on us.
That’s why I joined the House Freedom Caucus in reiterating our commitment to cut funding for the federal bureaucracy to pre-pandemic levels and demanding that any government funding bill address the crisis at our border, stop the weaponization of the Department of Justice, and end the woke indoctrination of our military. We will oppose any attempt by Washington to revert to its old swamp playbook.
Fighting to secure the border
The American people have a right to know what their tax dollars are being used for – especially if it is funding inhumane policies that facilitate a threat to our public safety. That’s why Congressman Andy Biggs and I called out the Biden administration for reports that the federal government is funding camps for U.S.-bound migrants in foreign countries with taxpayer dollars. Our southern border is overrun, and the American people – especially Texans – are suffering as a consequence. If the reports are true, Congress has a duty to step in and stop it.
