Fundraiser for George Santos indicted after impersonating Kevin McCarthy’s chief of staff

George Santos’ campaign fundraiser has now been indicted for impersonating the chief of staff for House Speaker Kevin McCarthy while soliciting donations for the Santos campaign.

Santos is the only member of Congress to be under federal indictment. And now his staff is under indictment, too? You can’t make this stuff up!

Despite their criminal activity, Santos refuses to resign and McCarthy won’t expel him. So we have to do this the old fashioned way -- by defeating Santos at the ballot box.
