We wanted to make sure you saw the new issue-focused letter campaigns we launched last week!

We’re writing to youth voters in Virginia with messages focused on gun violence prevention, climate action, and reproductive freedom because these critical issues to young voters could all be impacted by the Virginia election results this fall.

Labs experiments like these help our team learn more about the effectiveness of the messaging in our letters, and will impact the design of our letters and experiments we try in 2024 and beyond.

As we work to make letter writing as high-impact as possible, your participation in these campaigns goes a long way: you’re helping to encourage young voters to turn out, and you’re helping improve this tactic for future elections.

Here are a few resources to help you get started with these letters:

• Craft your “why I vote” message using our messaging guidelines. Just remember to make sure you don’t mention any particular candidates or legislation, and instead write a personal message about why these issues are important to you.
