John, sixty years ago, ADL leaders were at the original March on Washington alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and other civil rights leaders. It was a momentous day in our country’s ongoing drive for freedom and justice.

This Saturday, ADL will once again march together with the King family and other leaders from the civil rights movement to be inspired together and to move this vital cause ahead. You are invited to be a part of this historic event at the Lincoln Memorial as we join together arm in arm to Fight Hate for Good with our allies and to continue Dr. King’s legacy.

Please join us as we march on August 26 with our partners including the Drum Major Institute, the National Action Network, NAACP, NUL, LCCHR, Lawyers Committee, NAACP LDF, NCNW, The National Coalition, UnidosUS, Human Rights Campaign and Asian Americans Advancing Justice-AAJC in speaking out for civil rights and against hate. The ADL community will lead Jewish communal participation in the March to demonstrate a strong show of support for our partners in the fight for democracy, social justice and civil rights.

I am deeply honored to represent ADL and our values as a speaker during the March, and I am proud that so many friends from the ADL community will be there with me, either in person or by using the discussion guide to be a part of this moment from home.

Thank you for helping to not just commemorate but continue that landmark moment in the fight against hate and to secure justice and fair treatment for all.
Sincerely,

Jonathan Greenblatt
CEO and National Director

P.S. ADL recognizes that the March is on Shabbat and that many, including some at ADL, may need to make special arrangements so that their participation in the March does not conflict with their Shabbat observance. ADL has guidance to help facilitate Shabbat-observant participation. You can find out more by emailing
