Friends,

Last Friday, we hosted our first town hall in Richmond at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture.

We were joined by my colleagues in the General Assembly and Del. Dawn Adams, as well as Richmond City Council members Andreas Addison, Dr. Michael Jones, and Stephanie Lynch.

We had a good group of concerned citizens, and our conversation focused on issues of interest to the local community. Issues that dominated discussion were centered on upcoming redistricting bills, environmental issues, collective bargaining, gun safety legislation, and the regional transportation bill.

When my team and I head back to the Virginia General Assembly this week, we’ll carry the stories — your hopes and your concerns — of this community with us.
