The horrific mass shooting the El Paso community suffered this weekend was an act of domestic terrorism and white supremacy. My heart breaks for the victims in El Paso, in Dayton, and other communities across the country who lost loved ones due to gun violence in the past week.
We cannot sit by while our communities are ripped apart by gun violence.
I'm asking you to call these vile acts by their names.
I'm asking you to confront the hatred that took the lives of dozens of Americans.
And then, I'm asking you to join me in doing something about it.
Whether it's giving blood, or giving to an organization dedicated to ending gun violence, please consider taking action at any of the links below:

House Democrats and I sent Mitch McConnell legislation to prevent gun violence more than 3 months ago.
I've watched him do everything in his power to keep that legislation from getting a vote.
All the while, the carnage of innocent life is in danger of becoming an everyday-norm.
I will fight with every breath I have to ensure that does not become the case.
I'm asking you to fight with me.
It has become abundantly clear that Republicans have nothing but thoughts and prayers to offer in response to these horrors.
So please join me in supporting organizations that are actually doing something to end this hatred and horrific loss of life.
Thank you,
Ben Ray-------
