Quick reminder that tomorrow night, Wednesday, August 23rd, at 6:30pm in the Hickory Room at Lubber Run Community Center, we will be holding special elections to fill the Vice President and Community Service Director vacancies on the AYD Executive Board.
There are three candidates for Vice President :
1. Phebe Carlson
2. Bryan Coleman
3. Tony Striner

The Community Service Director vacancy is uncontested with the sole candidate being Rhea Simon .

Ever wonder how AYD gets stuff done? Meet our incredible Executive Board at Highline RxR over in Crystal City at 7pm on August 29th and find out. This is a great opportunity to talk to the current E-Board, find out what each position does, and see if there are any positions that you might want to run for in the future. AYD Canvass: Russett Perry, Rob Banse, & VA Dems [[link removed]]
Join us for our first AYD Canvass of the 2023 general campaign season! On Saturday, September 2nd, we'll be heading out to Loudoun County to support Russet Perry (SD 31) and Rob Banse (HD 30) and the rest of the VA Dems down the ballot. We’ll meet up at 9:00am to carpool out by 9:15am in order to arrive in Loudoun County, VA to canvass from 10am-1pm. We should arrive back in Arlington around 2pm-3pm. Meet-up location will be provided upon sign up via email, so please keep an eye on your inbox!
