Hi John, it’s Lucas Kunce with a quick update.

I wanted to let you know that I’m officially back on the road.

I’ve stayed pretty close to home over these last few months as Marilyn and I welcomed the newest member of our family into the world — but that didn’t stop us from walking in parades in Parkville and Odessa, and attending events in Clay, Platte, and Jackson counties. Now, I’m excited to keep traveling the state and connecting with voters.

Last week, the whole family and I visited Sedalia for the Missouri State Fair. Tomorrow, I’m holding a town hall in Moniteau County — about twenty miles away from the place I grew up in mid-Missouri. And next week, we’re even having a big rally in St. Louis with the Missouri Machinists, Fire Fighters, and AFL-CIO.

All that said, one of the biggest tradeoffs for getting back on the road is that I’ll have less time every week to sit by a computer and make fundraising calls. And now that GOP mega-donors and corporate elites are dumping millions of dollars into our race, falling behind this quarter isn’t a risk we can afford to take.
