Right now, the Republican presidential candidates are gearing up for their first debate tomorrow night in Milwaukee, WI.
There is one thing we already know for certain: Republicans are going to use this debate to appeal to the most extreme parts of their party and say anything they can to get a headline or soundbite. Whether it be attacking the trans community or abortion rights, nothing is off limits when they are preaching their divisive agenda.
These extremists are going to continue to spread hatred and fear, but we must fight back to protect Americans and their freedoms. And it starts with us standing up for Wisconsin voters today.
It is no coincidence that they are having their debate and convention in Milwaukee. These voters are essential to the White House, but Wisconsinites know these candidates won’t have their back.
So we need to show up strong for Wisconsin voters. Because they deserve to be heard and have leaders that understand their struggles — ones that will serve their best interests — not extremists that descend on their state and spread hatred and fear.
We value the voices of Wisconsinites, so we must fight to amplify their voices so they are heard loud and clear on Election Day.
Tomorrow night, Republicans will put their extremist views on full display. It’s going to make the stakes of 2024 even more clear and we must do everything we can to stop the GOP from buying this election.
