Founded in 2006, Sonke is a women’s rights organisation that is committed to feminist principles, using a rights-based and gender transformative approach to achieve human rights and gender justice. About this position
The Regional SRHR Senior Trainer will report to the SRHR specialist- and will provide technical capacity support on gender norms transformative SRHR programming to the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights programmes, MenEngage Africa and Sonke’s partners in the region. Some of the key deliverable for the incumbent includes include formative research and design, capacity building on sexual and reproductive health and rights, evidence-based advocacy, gender norms transformation through a comprehensive train the trainer (ToT) methodology and qualitative research, focusing on both individual change as well as the impact of research and country partner interventions. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and customizing training material and courses for both face-to-face and online training platforms.
