I don’t know about you, but I think it’s pretty crazy to be running for Congress when you can’t answer simple questions about your position on abortion rights or your own party’s extreme far-right agenda. But that’s exactly what my Republican opponent is doing.

How can we trust someone to vote the right way when he can’t even give us his position?

He was hand-picked by Kevin McCarthy to run against me and he could be the one vote McCarthy needs to completely ban abortion nationwide - including California! - if we don’t take back the House next year.

Our race could literally determine the future of a woman’s right to choose. San Joaquin County deserves a representative who isn’t going to stumble over their position or just go along with MAGA Republicans’ far-right agenda.
