Subject: Heartbreaking losses in Hawaii

Dear Colleagues, 

Thank you for reaching out to offer support. What we are experiencing on Maui is heartbreaking, something you pray will never happen to your family or in your community.   

Our hearts will be forever heavy with the unimaginable loss of life and devastation. Unfortunately these losses are only expected to grow in the coming days and weeks.

Hundreds of loved ones remain missing, thousands of homes and businesses have been wiped out. We can never fully recover from this tragedy, but I hope the country will come together in this dark time and show their Aloha to the people of Maui.

We’ve already seen an outpouring of support, but our kamaʻāina that have lost everything still have a long road to recovery ahead of them. There are several local organizations providing direct relief to those in need, and 100% of your contribution will support them.
