A.G. Eric Holder: “Voting rights protect all other rights. But those rights are under attack—and our democracy is under attack. It’s up to us to do the work . . . We have to make real America’s promise of inclusion in our democracy.”

Team, since the 2020 election, Republican lawmakers have passed dozens of bills in nearly half of all states undermining voting rights.

In Ohio, Republicans tried to change the rules to make it harder for voters to make reproductive freedom a constitutional right.

In Texas, GOP lawmakers passed legislation that allows state officials to overturn election results in the state’s most populous county.

And now, House Republicans are working to pass legislation that would restrict voting rights nationwide.

The NDRC is working across the country to combat efforts to weaken our democracy and undermine voting rights. Will you donate now to support our work?

While Republicans have been working to restrict voting rights, Democrats have been working to expand them.

After our grassroots movement helped Democrats win full control of state government in Michigan for the first time in 40 years, lawmakers passed legislation to expand access to early voting and absentee voting.

Likewise in Minnesota, Democrats passed legislation to automatically register voters at age 18.

And last month, House Democrats reintroduced the Freedom to Vote Act, which would set national standards protecting the right to vote.

Team, the NDRC is committed to fighting across the country to strengthen our democracy and protect the right to vote. Will you donate today to support our work?
