Hi friend – before I ask you to chip in to help me win in Ohio and keep the Senate blue, I need to take a moment to explain why I'm in this fight and what your grassroots contribution would mean today.
I grew up in Mansfield, Ohio, in a community of ironworkers, carpenters, autoworkers, and electricians. I spent summers working on my family's farm. Today, I live in Cleveland with my wife, Connie, and our two rescue dogs, Franklin and Walter.
I’ll be honest with you, friend: Over the years, we've seen manufacturing jobs shipped overseas because of bad trade deals, prices skyrocketing as wages failed to keep up, and hopes for a comfortable retirement dashed. That's why I've devoted my life to fighting for the Dignity of Work – the idea that hard work should pay off for everyone, no matter who you are, where you live, or what kind of work you do.

This is gonna be a heck of a fight, but with you by my side, I know we can beat the odds and continue making much-needed progress for workers and families. Thanks for being on our team.
With gratitude,
Sherrod
