We started the Patients Over Profits pledge because we know that private
insurers, pharmaceutical corporations, and for-profit hospitals are
spending millions of dollars each year in direct campaign contributions to
influence our elected officials.

Our mission is in the name: it’s time that our leaders put Patients Over
Profits and reject these contributions, so we can move toward guaranteed
health care for all.
