This month marked 88 years since the Social Security Act was signed into law. Despite this historic legislation allowing Americans to retire with dignity and security for decades, Republicans are doing everything in their power to attack our earned benefits.

Three Republicans running for president – Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, and Mike Pence – have all called for cuts to Social Security. But that's not all – last month, Kevin McCarthy said he wants to create a commission to look at future cuts to Social Security.
