Prescription drug costs are out of control.

Half of Medicare enrollees earn less than $30,000 a year. Yet senior citizens are shelling out up to $5,000 co-pays to access necessary medication to treat Alzheimer's and other conditions.

Who benefits from this? Pharmaceutical executives. These CEOs rake in massive profits off of folks living on fixed incomes.

Medication doesn't work if you can't afford it. And millions of Americans can’t afford to forgo their life-saving medication. They deserve better. That’s why we need Medicare for All.

Healthcare is a human right, and it should be a given here in the US, the most prosperous nation in the world. But it isn’t. More than one-third of Americans have said they can’t afford to fill a prescription due to the cost of medication.

No one should be forced to choose between their health and their financial security. Medicare for All will prioritize both health and security. It will keep prescription drug prices low and put money back into the pockets of those who need it most.
