Let's put it bluntly: Jefferson Shreve can't be trusted.
During a 2016 Republican primary -- to win over conservative Republicans -- he bragged about his "A" rating from the NRA and more recently, he claimed that we didn't need any more laws to prevent gun violence.
Now, in the general election -- to win over middle of the road voters -- he's flip-flopped and stated he would support gun safety policies if elected Mayor.
Here's the fact: Jefferson Shreve will do or say anything to be elected.
Mayor Joe Hogsett is the two-term Mayor of Indianapolis. He has spent his time in office moving the ball forward for working families and small businesses.
His top priorities include building infrastructure, investing in public safety, improving public health and making housing more affordable.
