Union Volunteer,

My name is Kelly Brown and I am the new state lead for Pennsylvania.  I am reaching out to all Union volunteers who are from Pennsylvania to let you know that we are ramping up our state team to prepare for the 2023 local and state elections, special elections, and the 2024 election cycle. When we bring our power as a group to every corner of the state, we win.  It will take all of us!

Some of you are actively volunteering with the Union, some of you did volunteer work for the 2022 elections and others recently joined the Union.  We are hoping you all will participate with the PA state team.   We are looking for volunteers to fill many different roles including:

●        people to organize local meet and greets and work on voter registration

●        people to provide local outreach for special elections, critical local elections, or other important democracy-related ballot initiatives

●        people to be the boots on the ground, and connect directly with local voters (voter registration, connecting voters with rides to the polls, education, door knocking)

●        people to contribute to research, intel and to our state’s social media account

●        people to assist Union partners with phone banking, text banking and postcarding

Don’t worry, we do not expect you to do this on your own.  We are building out the PA team infrastructure and you will be part of a team all working to defend democracy.  We will be reaching out to volunteers in the coming weeks but if you are eager to get started or are interested in a bigger role, feel free to reach out to me directly.
