Dear John,

This is Sandy Smith, and I have breaking news: the media lies about Patriots.

OK, so maybe this isn't breaking news. But what IS important is that if we don't fight back, the media will tear apart every conservative with lies.

I saw this myself in my 2022 run for Congress. The media posted the most venal lies about me and my family.

You know what I did? I mocked them for their ridiculous lies, then I went on to overperform in my district by 4 points.

In 2024 I will win and go to Congress DESPITE the media's lies! ([link removed])

Recently, the NC state legislature overrode Democrat Gov. Cooper's vetos- four of them-with bipartisan votes. CNN of course could be counted on to post blatantly biased lies that are easily identified!

It's time for Republicans to get tough.

The media will post false and defamatory hit pieces no matter what. Fewer and fewer people believe them every year anyway.

We need to push forward, call them out for their lies, and do the right thing for the American people!
