John —

When I ran for the Senate, I knew what it would mean to become the first openly gay Senator in our nation's history.

I understood that this would be an extraordinary opportunity to make a difference in people's lives — and that’s what I’ve been hard at work doing every day since. But, despite all of the hard-fought progress my Democratic colleagues and I have made, attacks on LGBTQ+ rights are rampant across the country.

Extremist Republicans are working overtime to institute a wave of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation. The 2023 legislative session has already seen more than 650 bills designed to roll back LGBTQ+ rights, particularly targeting transgender youth.

Amidst these unrelenting attacks, I refuse to be discouraged.

I first ran for public office to make a difference in people’s lives, and I won’t let anti-LGTBQ+ Republicans turn back the clock — and if you’re with me, I hope I can count on you to add a small donation toward our fight today.

Will you help me keep up the fight in the Senate by splitting a donation of any amount between my campaign and No Dem Left Behind ahead of our end-of-month deadline? We can’t let extreme Republicans take back the majority and roll back our rights and freedoms.
