Dear John,

As a valued supporter of World Land Trust (WLT), you played an important role in our partners’ transformative conservation work that last year spanned 60 projects in 27 countries around the globe. I am delighted to now share with you our 2022 Impact Report, ([link removed]) a celebration of all that your support helped to achieve last year.

These achievements – the acres saved, the trees planted, the wildlife protected, and so much more – came against a backdrop of planetary crises. Our Impact Report ([link removed]) provides substantial evidence that the change the world needs is already being delivered, thanks to the dedication of supporters like you. By raising funds for our international partners, you’re delivering nature-based solutions to climate change, biodiversity loss, and socioeconomic issues like poverty and access to clean water. Through collective action, you’re truly making a difference at this pivotal time for the planet.

Despite the economic pressures, your generosity allowed 2022 to be a year of growth for WLT. The Impact Report ([link removed]) includes updates on our key performance indicators, introductions to 10 new partners, and an overview of the most significant success stories from individual projects and our core programmes. We also highlight the headline figures from 2022 – like the 71,713 ha of threatened habitats protected – and provide a detailed breakdown of WLT income and expenditure.

The WLT team continues to be humbled by your incredible support, and we thank everyone who has helped to make our projects a reality in 2022. To ensure we can continue to achieve our ambitious targets and deliver our plan to bring a further 1 million hectares of land into conservation protection by 2025, we need your help. Please, if you can, donate to support our Action Fund below. Thank you.
