Plans for International Women's Day 2020?

Dear John,

Ahead of International Women’s Day, Womankind Worldwide is launching a global campaign to make women’s rights a reality for #AllNotSome women.

In the last 25 years, more women than ever before have realised their human rights. Their right to have control over their own lives, their right to make their own decisions, their right to live a life free from violence.

But not all women have been able to realise their rights. Progress hasn’t been even or equal. In some cases there’s even been a rollback on women’s rights.

Some women accessing rights is not enough. Some is not a justification. Some is not an excuse to halt action. Most importantly, some is not all.
2020 is a milestone year ([link removed]) for women’s rights. Governments, UN representatives and activists are meeting throughout the year to review the current state of women’s rights across the world.

This is why Womankind is launching the #AllNotSome campaign ([link removed]) – to use these moments to send a clear message that we’ve had enough. Now is the time for action to make women’s rights a reality for #AllNotSome women.
How to get involved:

* March with us on International Women’s Day: Womankind Worldwide invites you to join the women’s march in central London. Meet us at 1pm on 8^th March at Embankment Station. Find out more and confirm your attendance here ([link removed]) .

* Fundraise for #AllNotSome women: If you're not local to London, why not get together with friends on March 8th in recognition of the challenges still faced by women and girls around the world. If you would like to support Womankind with fundraising, let us know here ([link removed]) and we can send you some materials (leaflets, balloons.. etc.)

* Help us spread the message and hold world leaders to account: click the buttons below to share our #AllNotSome campaign far and wide on social media or forward to a friend.
