* You might have heard that a Republican group is sending out questionnaires that look like Census forms ([link removed]) , a move that will confuse people and might cause problems with the actual Census.
Want to fight back and help work toward an accurate count? ATNJ-Educational Fund ([link removed]) has Census resources, or check out the resources from Advocates for Children of New Jersey ([link removed]) , or the Census webinars and other resources at the National Coalition for Literacy ([link removed]) .
When the Census arrives in March, you can always go to the official Census website ([link removed]) if you have questions about filling it out - or want to make sure it's real!
** Good News in New Jersey

* The League of Women Voters of New Jersey will be joining forces with the New Jersey Reentry Corporation to help register the 80,000 former prisoners who just had their voting rights reinstated ([link removed]) .
* Senator Menendez wants New Jersey to have an open Presidential primary ([link removed]) , and Democratic State Chairman John Currie said he likes the idea ([link removed]) .
* Governor Murphy is planning a big overhaul of New Jersey's ethics rules ([link removed]) for government officials.
* NJ is implementing a $5,000 rebate ([link removed]) for those who buy electric vehicles.
* Kearny is the latest NJ town to impose a single use plastic ban ([link removed]) . Clean Water Action and other groups are still working on a statewide ban. Use their form here to reach your legislators ([link removed]) .
