John: Women only make up a quarter of the Senate.

 

John, representation is imperative to the effectiveness and
equality of this nation. For the current Congress, only 1 in 4
representatives are women. Two of those women are Senators Baldwin and
Rosen, who will face challenging races to defend their seats in 2024.
Without these voices in Congress, we have two fewer votes for reproductive
freedom, women's rights, and equality. 

Our nation is still plagued with the perpetuation of patriarchal
stereotypes, and the MAGA GOP leans into them heavily, from stripping away
personal freedoms to insinuating that women are not as capable as men and
do not belong in power.
