Three years ago today, I proudly accepted our party's nomination for president, and together we’ve accomplished so much in the time since.

I said it then and I mean it to this day: This campaign is about more than winning an election -- it's about winning the heart, and yes, the soul of America.

Winning it for the generous among us, not the selfish. Winning it for the workers who keep this country going, not just the privileged few at the top. Winning it for those communities who have known the injustice of the “knee on the neck.” For all the people who have known an America of rising inequity and shrinking opportunity. They deserve to experience America’s promise in full.

That’s why Kamala and I have made bold investments in our country -- helping create more than 13 million jobs, taking the strongest action on the climate crisis in our nation’s history, reestablishing America’s leadership on the world stage, and more.
