In case you haven’t heard, this Mississippi gubernatorial race is a real nail-biter. We know it. The experts know it. And almost every poll shows it (we’re right on Tate Reeves’ heels!).

For starters, Tate Reeves is as self-serving as they get. He’s tied for least popular governor in the nation and 57% of Mississippians say they prefer to vote for someone else. And, let’s not forget that he's caught up in the worst public corruption scandal in our state’s history.

And here's the truth, John. This race isn't about party lines. I’m running to make Mississippi work for everyone.

As Mayor of Nettleton and as Public Service Commissioner, I worked across the aisle to find common-sense solutions for the issues facing our communities. I've taken on the establishment and shown I can lead for the people.
