I want to share an update with you from my work in Washington.
I recently sponsored the “No Obamacare for Illegal Aliens Act” (read more here). After Democrats sponsored a plan to give illegal aliens healthcare that would cost taxpayers over $100M in 2024 alone, I knew something had to be done. The American taxpayer should never be forced to cover the cost of healthcare for illegal immigrants. It’s common sense: people who break our laws should not reap the benefits of public programs intended for lawful citizens.
