Just hours before I announced my campaign, Kevin McCarthy removed me from the Intelligence Committee, where I’ve served as Chairman and top Democrat for years. All because I held Trump and MAGA Republicans accountable.
As it turned out, that was just the beginning. Ever since I started running to serve Californians in the Senate, McCarthy, Matt Gaetz, and the entire Fox News machine have attacked me nearly every day.
McCarthy claimed that a Republican could win this Senate race in California and also said they needed to make sure I didn’t win.
It’s clear that McCarthy and his right-wing allies are going to do everything they can to prevent me from becoming California’s next Senator. That’s why it’s so important we hit our fundraising goal and send a powerful message: I’m not going anywhere.
