John, can I please have a chance to explain why your $10 contribution today matters so much to my campaign?

It’s no secret that the summertime can be a slog for campaign fundraising, and this August has been no exception.

But if we’re going to build the resources needed to support my Democratic colleagues in their Senate races against Mitch McConnell’s handpicked candidates, then we can’t let up now — because McConnell and his allies certainly aren’t.

A recent report showed that two of the largest GOP Super PACs have raised a combined $38 million so far this year — and their pace is only going to pick up in the weeks and months to come.
